"La Horse" is the first single from the upcoming album Floor Comfort. Along with many tracks on this release it was built by adding guitar loops on top of each other, then boiling it down to the best ones and finding where each worked best throughout the song. Like the name suggests, it was all written and recorded while sitting on the floor when I feel most comfortable making music. For me it's the kind of music that comes out naturally that I have the most fun making, just sitting there playing my guitar to various drum beats and seeing what I can come up with. I wanted this time around to focus more on creating a good soundscape around the instruments, including more samples to give each song a more organic feel.
